The Indigobird has me puzzled!!!

Way out it's normal habitat!!! I am trying
to download pictures for confirmation but
heck 'it tinypic is simply useless!!!!

I am on now 602 after Flock at Sea. I added 15 lifers, my 600th being American Golden Plover.
The trip was an experience one will remember for long.

Wow that is a nice number of new birds you got there! Glad you enjoyed it! This latest NGP was from a Cape pelagic and a real bogey bird for me!

H.E - this looks like a Male Purple Indigobird - white bill and whitish legs.

I doubt that I'll add anything else before month end, so 653 is the new number for me. African crake, sand martin and green malkoha are the three new ones. :dance: :dance: :dance:

New total for me 323 with no additions in 2013.

A weekend away last November close to Botswana border with the highlights being Swallow-tailed Bee-eater and Pearl-spotted Owlet.

Oh Wow, very very impressive totals and well done to all!

My new total 230 after our trip in March to Tsendze where I could see all the summer visitors. Previous total was 195 I think. New target 250!

It's almost a year (started mid April 2012) after I started birding and a whole new perspective to nature has opened up for me.
