Travelling to Marakele

Unread postby E Orix » Wed Jul 23, 2014 4:34 pm

After looking at distances I am getting a little concerned.
We depart Kruger NP 29th Sept and stay at White River that night. The following morning(early)
we intend to drive to Marakele (Tlopi) NP.
Since we have booked our accom I realise it is around 550km can this be done in time.
Here in Australia it wouldn't be a problem but the reports we get here is that progress can be slow on your northern roads.
Your opinion/s would be appreciated as well as your preferred directions.
Thank you.

Hi Orix
It can be done with no problem only problem you get is closer to Marakele you may encounter potholes.
Preferred route via Pretoria-Bela Bela-Thabazimbi. Wishing you a great trip.
