Sitting in my chair, looking at the waterhole where zebras, kudu and warthog comes around. Had 2 giraffes this morning, and 6 rhinos between the tents last night. Some only 4 meters away......

This is life

This was how we did it...

A lazy weekend as you can see... :D

The general condition of the camp was not what we had experienced the previous year. The grass were long, "bossies" everywhere, and the bathrooms not up to standard.
But ....
On the monday we left, while busy loading the trailer, a certain Miss. Miriam came through the camp, stopping at all the campers. She first greeted us with a big smile, really friendly.
She then made a excuse about the condition of the camp, but explained that several of her staff was off sick. She was actually busy cleaning the bathrooms herself!! and also cleaning the dustbins!!
After that, we totally understood, and assured her that we will come back to Marakele.

The grass was really very long, and the bush very thick. Ecpecially on the "big 5" side, but also on the non big 5 side.

This will be all for now, will post again tomorrow.

Thanks Micetta, we really had a lazy weekend. A weekend like that makes you relax, rest and experience nature as it must have been 100 years ago.
