There's a dirt road that goes from Kestell to Golden Gate National Park and joins the R712 in middle Golden Gate. I've checked google maps and I can't find a name for this road but it kind of runs parallel to the R57 which goes from Kestell to Phuthaditjhaba. Has anyone driven this road and if so would a sedan be able to use this road. It looks like an interesting detour to the normal tar road routes.

I can say that the road can be used in a sedan it is sand with a bit of corrugation but otherwise in a fair condition and the sites are stunning
