Body of a man found in Mapungubwe National Park

South African National Parks (SANParks) confirms that a body of a male estimated to be in his early forties was discovered in the Western side of the Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage Site on Saturday the 23rd August 2014 by Rangers who were on patrol.

According to SANParks spokeswoman Divhani Maremba, it is believed that he might have been trampled to death by an elephant. She said preliminary investigations have revealed that the man, who is believed to be a Zimbabwean National, was in the company of a group as numerous foot prints were discovered in the vicinity of the incident.

Maremba said a Zimbabwean passport and a cell phone were discovered in his possession. A police investigation is under way.

Lesego, thank you for that information. It is a horrible way to die and who knows his story?
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

IF you can BELIEVE :slap: the story doing the rounds, the moral of the story is: Don't try to smuggle cigarettes across the border elegally on a bicycle into a Park, in the dark and ride into a herd of elephants. Apparently they don't like it....... But like I said (don't quote me on it) that is just the story doing the rounds.....
I live in my own little world. But it's okay they know me here.
