Hi
Does anyone have some more info regarding the accommodation in the Tree Tops in Knysna? It looks great, but would love some more pics. Are the chalets quite luxury or more basic? I believe it has a Jacuzzi? :)

We will be staying there for 4 nights in December and I would love some feedback from other people who have been there. The birdlife must be amazing?!

Hi Kingfisha,
I stayed there early on in Jan this year. There is only one chalet and it is extremely luxury. It is all very cosy inside and yes it does have a jacuzzi on the outside deck, but we couldn't find a way of warming it up so its a cold dip if you dare :thumbs_up:
Out the back the deck is up in the tree tops (as the name suggests) its lovely and peaceful but we didn't see any wildlife to shout about. There are a lot of trails that you can take in the forest but we didn't have time to explore them so i cannot comment.
We did have a problem with getting the keys as they had been given to another couple but it was all sorted in the end.
In my opinion its the kind of place that you will want to spend at least two nights to get the most out of the location. One night will leave you wanting more, as I am.

Thank you very much for the info. I am so glad I booked 4 nights for the Tree Top chalet. There is so much to explore in the area. How far is the chalet from Knysna town and lagoon?
Did you (OR ANYONE OUT THERE) take any photo's please?

Teniqua tree tops is private.

I do not know of Sanparks tree top type accommodation and would like to have more info on this. Or pictures as you requested in your original post..

Hi there - The San Parks one is called Tree Tops Forest Lodge - go to Garden Route National Parks and then onto Knysna National Lake area and here you will see (all on the San parks Website)
the tree house accommodation - looks lovely - let me know if you cant find it
