Hi,
I want to go and camp in my tent at Storms River next month and listed on Sanparks site are 2 options for tentsites. 1) Powerpoint and No View and 2) No Powerpoint with a View.
My problem is that I would like a View AND power for my camping fridge.

I see on the site that there are Caravan sites with both and I wonder if anyone can tell me whether they will allow one to pitch a tent on a Caravan site?

I've done that on several occasions without any problems. But note that the caravan sites are all paved.

I cannot not foresee a problem at all. No one minds what you pitch on the site you book - as long as you occupy a site that you have booked. So, if you book a tent site, occupy a tent site; if you book a caravan site, occupy a caravan site.

Also keep in mind the wind factor on the front sites .... take sufficient strength pegs.

Just spent 10 days in a tent on a caravan site with view and power...(for the 3rd year in a row). Awesome. It can be a bit difficult getting pegs into the spaces between the bricks but it can be done.
