Okay I am supposed to write a trip report, but I am so darned busy that I am being delayed.

So here are a few pictures to peak your interest

1. Taken from the rocks on the left side of the suspension bridge after you cross the bridge en-route to lookout point


2. Taken as you cross the suspension bridge


3. A view of the 3 or as I was told by the information desk, 1 suspension bridge. This was taken a little ways up the mountain to Lookout point.


There is a bench about 3/4 of the way up the trail en-route to lookout point, these were taken from there ...

then you hike for about 10 minutes until you go around a corner and you finally get to see lookout point from below. This is what it looks like from a distance

So when we reached lookout point the views were spectacular, to say the least ...

Beautiful pictures Gavin. I cannot remember the exact year when I last visited. I am sure there was only one swing bridge across the river.

I will be there in August when the weather can be rather tempestuous. I love it. Can't wait.

Looking forward to the rest of your report.

They added the 2nd and 3rd swing bridge over the last 2 years and re-opened the trail in August 2009 I believe. I am sure that someone will correct me if I am wrong.
