I have just upgraded my original booking of a CH2S to a Honeymoon cottage with the call centre. I was wondering if anyone knows whether the cottages have outdoor braai facilities - it doesn't say on the website, only mentions a kitchen. Also, the online availability seems to indicate there are now 4 cottages, whereas before the renovations there were 3 - is this correct?
Also, the call centre applied the conservation fee against the increased charge for the cottage, meaning there is a balance of R18 for accommodation plus the conservation fee to pay on arrival. The confirmation letter says "Provisional Reservation" at the top, but I was assured I could pay the balance on arrival. Should I be concerned? I would hate to lose the booking for R18.

Howzit! I decided to be pro-active and see if the reservation had updated on the online reservations system. It did after about 3 hours, so I paid the balance online and now have a proper confirmation letter - phew. I did look into the Wildcard, but since we are not resident in South Africa it was really expensive, much more than 2 days fee for Tsitsikamma. Any thoughts on the braai?
