There are 4 great cycling routes that form part of the Knysna National Lake Area. All 4 routes start just opposite the Garden of Eden, and permits are available here as well.

The blue and yellow routes are shorter and easy.
The green route is mostly easy except for a bit of a climb from a great view of the Harkerville coastline towards the forest.
The red route runs along the coast for a longer stretch, but is much harder.

The green and red routes both offer spectacular views of the coastline.

The red route Harkerville mountain bike route has to be one of the best rides I have completed 10/10!
