Karoo: Employees' Pedal Power

Unread postby MATTHYS » Mon Jun 17, 2013 8:25 am

 I hope they can cycle faster than the lions can run.

I saw them pedalling through the camping area one day. But what surprised me was a young lad who walked (athletic type of walking) between the rest camp and the main gate (at the N1) near the Lammertjiesleegte turn-off on Sunday 26 May 2013. I believe he was a personnel member (we also saw him a few days earlier walking near the personnel quarters - wrong side of the lion fence), but does rules regarding walking or jogging outside the rest camp area not apply to personnel? Everybody knows that the lions are presently keeping in the area of the 4x4 routes, but still ....??
