I'm dreaming of a white... Karoo... with lions playing in the snow!

Hey, is NOBODY brave enough to go and snap a pic of them in the Karoo snow?
PLEASE share with us if you are lucky enough to see such a rare event!

That's so difficult to believe!!!

I know it is Winter in SA, and you get snow on the Berg, but I always associate Addo with heat!!

How often does this happen in Addo, and how do the poor animals cope?

Quite rarely, I believe, but the animals are used to the seasons here, and this is just a bit colder than usual.

I think these pictures are from Karoo National Park, not from Addo. You can see by the first picture. The rest seem to have been taken at the Sanparks homesteads in Karoo National Park...?

stunning pictures

Here are some photos of the snow yesterday and this morning. It has started melting and there are many little waterfalls coming from the mountains. The temperature is very cold but its sunny.
