Apart from Matthys, who likes the cold
Addo is a park where you see animals the whole day, not only early morning or evening. In the afternoon we had the ellies at the water hole in front of the rondavel in the morning we had ellies at all the other waterholes and in between jackals, buffaloes, red hartebeasts, warthogs and lots of birds. We did not see the black rhino which migh appear latist at the waterhole (we were probably sleeping

) nor lions that probably show up in the early morning, mostly at Carols rest. Also the Kudus came to the water hole in the late afternoon. We had it just in front of the terrasse
When you are at the main camp, do pay a visit to the bird hide and have a look at all the red bishops fluttering about. They are so lovely in the reeds
Differently from other Sanparks camps you eat very well at the main camp restaurant
