In january my husband and I were staying in a rondavel at Addo and I must say that the view on the waterhole is fantastic.
We stayed in n. 3 and the space inside is very limited and essential and it would be a great plus if a small table was added. There are two plugs, one next to the basin and one next to the window on the left hand side when you enter. There is the space under this window for a table and it would be of great utility if you have to upload camera, netbook, laptop etc. but also just as an extra surface. Moreover you have a boiler and a toaster and it is not very suitable to put one of them on the floor.
The last evening that we were there a thunderstorm arrived and it would have been impossible to eat on the terrasse (luckily we were at the restaurant); with a table inside at least you can move your plates out of the rain even if there are only the beds where you can sit down.
We had a very nice stay at Addo, but with a little more attention to the needs of the guests it would have been even better (the shop had only small bottles of still water, no sparkling, no soda water and no liter bottles). This lack of attention goes for all the camps that we visited in South Africa - from KTP, Storms River Mouth to Addo and my memory of our last Kruger trip tells me that it goes for Kruger too.
