Please tell us about a sighting which you'll remember for a long time. If possible, tell us where, when, what time(more or less)and what the weather was like(if you can remember).Reading your account may just prompt us to visit that particular Park!!!

Your :cam: :cam: ,will certainly make us even more

Nice pic,Stoffel. Those two must find grazing on the Karoo-veld rather harder than the succulent, soft on the lip bushveld their family living in the KNP are accustomed to! Your photo beautifully shows the condition of the Karoo-vegetation.Thanks for sharing.

Haupie, I believe you about doing the jitterbug, but salute you for having the presence to control your shakes and keep the lens pointing in the general direction of the cat!!! I'd love to see the video.

Leah and I too love Addo!
Regards
Andre

My best ever wildlife sighting was in Addo. I have seen many kills over the years, but this was the birth of a red hartebeest. Birth beats death any day.

BB agree with you 100 %. I saw the birth a buffalo calf on a night drive in Addo many years ago and it's the first thing I think of when I here the word Addo. The way the whole group protected, first the mother and then the calf from the spotlight and our nosy eyes, was amazing. I will never ever forget that.

Saw this porcupine one evening in the park. Sorry the pics were not great but only had a regular digital camera on me and it was very very dark. Thats why I have added so many.
