I really enjoyed the pics  and we have never been to MZ, but the plan was to spend 2 days there on our way back from KNP end Sep'10. Unfortunately, it will not work out, hence will do a one night stop over at Karoo NP, which will be a first for us. We plan to do a circle route in 2011 via Wilderness NP (must do the canoe thing again on the beautiful river) and then ADDO for a few days, then MZ! The info and beautiful pics you all shared makes me even more exited to go to MZ, besides what I have read in the WEG mag. I will make sure that I plan for enogh time to b at MZ next year. Haupie - might see you in B'nD during your stay there - watch out for the YR. :D

-----------------
18 Sep - Premier Classe train from CTN-JHB
19-20 Sep - Skukuza
21-24 Sep - Lower Sabie
25-26 Sep - Pretoriuskop
27-28 Sep - Berg 'n Dal
29-30 Sep - Golden Gate
1 Oct - Karoo NP

WoW!!! Stunning, I will have to get in my vehicle this weekend and go and have a look what I can see (I only live an hour away from both MZNP and AENP - right in the middle)!!

I'm so jealous, absolutely lovely sightings wanderw!

@Bartman -Thanx! We first saw the cheetahs on the edge of the dam near the house halfway between the camp and the turnoff to the Ubejane loop. They disappeared into the bush and we went off to do the Ubejane loop. We returned 1,5 hours later and found that they were on the other side of the road, and had just killed a springbok.(no other vehicles present) :wall: It pays to be patient and hang around a bit!

@Haupie - You are right with the cheetah and blackie sightings! We were in MZ from the 11th to 14th June, so I think we overlapped with your visit!

@BB - I am always  about those forumites who stay close to MZ, Karoo, KTP and Kruger!

Anything you didn't see during your last visit, wanderw?

Wonderful sightings and very good pictures. The flying bok over the other ones with the landscape in the back is a winner.
