Have photos of two Lions taken in 2007 and would love to know which they are. Visiting again soon. Since 2007 I haven't seen a single lion during 4 or 5 visits. Once I learn how to insert an image I'll upload a picture. Have created an avatar of one of them.

s2000ap,

You are using a new beta version of Flickr and one that doesn't appear to be working properly. You should be able to go back to the old version and then follow the tutorial that lion queen pointed you to.

Does anybody have any news regarding probability of cubs being born in Addo soon? Read somewhere a while ago that the contraceptive injections should have worn off by now...
Am visiting with school photography tour in 3 months -- would love to see cubs in Addo again!
God bless,

Friedrich von Hörsten

Hi Friedrich :yaya:

There was talk a few months back that there might have been new cubs, but the rangers dismissed the idea - and the females have all been seen since without any cubs.

Both Gina and Josie are off contraceptives, though it's often very difficult to tell whether a lioness is pregnant until a few weeks before giving birth. The more recent sightings of them haven't shown any signs yet... so we'll just have to wait and see

2 weeks now before we will be in Addo again with 14 school kids... still no news about possible lion cubs or latest lion movements?

Will be the 4th visit -- last 3 delivered no lions, but they still enjoyed the visit any way.
Maybe this will be our lucky 3 days in Addo!

God bless,

Friedrich von Hörsten
