I also had a look at that other bird, but it got me stunned.
My guess is that it is a female southern masked weaver,
but I'm not sure. That bird seems to come in all kind of
shades. :slap: In my birdbook, the breast and belly don't look
as clean as in your pic and I have also seen photos where
they have yellow bellies and breast and just a bit off-white
at the vent. But I also found pictures on the Internet that
are very similar to yours, hence my suggestion.

Hopefully there'll be more input from others as well. :popcorn:

Thanks BB........that PCG gave us a lot of pleasure..........I assume his lunch fell into the pipe........he spend a lot of time looking down the pipe and trying to figure out how to get into the pipe......... :lol:

Battling with your post on 26th - closet I can get is Yellow Canary (using Roberts Birds on iPad) - one of the pics looks very similar, will dig deeper. :hmz:
