This African Wild Cat looks more than a domesticated animal . . . took this pic
about 3 kms south of the Kalahari Tented Camp . . . with the first rays of sun
on its back . . . and on frozen ground at approx 6 degrees minus in the dead
of winter !

Hey Lion Queen,

I loved it there in Upington, I went to Nossob and Mata Mata and loved both those camps. The main reason I was there though was the Meerkats (Suricates) in the Kalahari Meerkat Project. Had an awesome time walking around with those little guys and girls and the pups are tooo cute. I was surprised though when I walked through Upington and saw your clothing store (Woolworths) we haven't had those stores here in the states in probably 20 years. If I was to move to SA, I would pick Cape Town, Upington or Phalaborwa even though I haven't been there yet but with it being next to Kruger that is all I need to know. lol.
