Hi there Clive . . . really some nice pics of yours !

As I mentioned in my PM to you, I am of opinion that this crowd of Cape Foxes, could possibly have been those who were locating on the climb, as the road crosses the river bed, about a km before the Urikaruus turn-off . . . some 6-7 kms to the north from where you saw them at Kamqua. Allthough I took a lot of time to locate them at the latter spot,. . . they were no where to be seen in mid-August last . . . not even a spoor next to a deserted den.

Has anybody else possibly seen them arround the Kamqua location perhaps in recent days . . . in accordance with CliveK's sighting. Would really appreciate some response, because I have'nt seen them for many moons in the KTP . . . what a privilage it would be to see them through the lens again !

My only sighting of the Bat Eared Fox in KTP so far. :hmz:

This was one of a pair, a fair distance off the road a few kms North of Urikuruus waterhole. The male disappeared down a hole before I could get a picture and was soon followed by this female just seconds after this shot. This posting is a heavily cropped one and she may be identifiable to others by what appears to be an injured right eye. Just love that smile though :)
