This one made a hasty escape when he spotted the lions and they spotted him...........at the lower dune turn off.

I didn't even know about the sighting of the month image. :dance: :dance: :dance:

Uploaded the image on my trip report. I had read Guss Mill Hyena nights book a few times and according to him you see seldom two brownies together and what made this sighting special was it looked like the Male was investigating the female to see if she is ready... to add to the wonderful sighting was the golden early morning light :dance: :dance:

Two Brownies at the same waterhole..The youngster waited some distance away for the older one to finish drinking before moving in....

They are so interesting creatures !
Here is a young one in Kalahari tented camp in july 2006 before the cars had "a cage to sleep in" and were regularly chewed by his fellows :slap:
