love the picture of "Grootkolk brownie".
Have 3 visits(25 days) to KTP and yet to even catch a glimpse, but that makes me more determined than ever, and when it happens it will be so special.
If only KTP had full cell coverage and a sightings app then I wouldn't need to try so hard!!! (Joke).

Great pictures Jan!

Me and my girlfriend have just returned from our Kgalagadi & Namibia trip and during our 8 night stay in the Kgalagadi at the end of May we have had no less than 3 different sightings of Brown Hyena's and as I understand we were very lucky with this!

1 Brown Hyena visited the waterhole at Nossob, another one was running towards us during a guided sunset drive, also at Nossob (and light was still good so we were very happy) and the third sighting was also during a guided sunset drive but at Kalahari Tented Kamp. Since I only returned yesterday I still have to start processing the images but as soon as I have them ready I will share them here!

Cheers,

Michel

Hyena walking from the riverbed passing our tent in the Kalahari Tented Camp. It was on the very first day, the first time we visited this beautiful camp. Since then we try to book the KTC every time we visit the Kalahari Transfrontier Park. (The 10th of Oktober 2006)
