Thanks all for your comments.

Rob....... I think it will be easier to just follow Jan van Wyk on his next trip!!!!!!!

Jan van Wyk.... I am beginning to believe that you take a "mobile studio" on your trips. How else can one get the perfect shots that you always produce?????

Probably entices them with food too!! :hmz:

I am sure that if he submitted sightings of animal droppings, there would be a deluge of requests for the recipes!!!! :naughty:

Hi Clive, Lion Queen,

I had a very good time reading all your tips and hints. Next time Jan will probably spot a whole new "species" stalking him, making notes  about the way he is creating his wonderful pictures.

Best regards,

Rob

Thank you for the comments

eos5d...Don't be fool by all my images....we visit KTP many times and had our first sighting on our last trip on 5 different occasions. For many year we heard about them or just missed them and luckily we hit the jackpot on our last visit. 3 Brownies at Kousant one morning

Still believe the only reason was all the dead Elands laying all over the park. :hmz:

Wish we had a mobile studio and hope we will be again at the right time and place :cam:

Still believe the good luck lady is lion queen :hmz:

Think I took about 200 images of the 3 Brownies at Kousant......

Sweet water ....

Jan it's amazing how you can go for how many visits to the park and not see something and then BANG, next visit you see so many, you wonder whether you might have just not looked round enough the previous times!!

Love these perfect light photos!!

Remember to pack those suitcases and charge that batteries, I'm off end of the month for a quick visit and those who want to tag along need to have all gear ready!!

Beautiful dreamy pose Jan. Looks like he just came out of the "doggy parlour"!!!! He is perfectly groomed and photographed. Well shared

Lion Queen..... you certainly make us  with envy. Maybe Jan can lend you his "mobile studio and doggie parlour" to take with!!!!! :hmz:

I came upon these five sleeping under a tree in the river bed (presumably after a kill). Due to the long lens, had to take them in three shots.....

then caught this one when he went behind the tree for some privacy!!! Notice, besides anything else :naughty: , the large chunk of uneaten meat at his feet
