KG

OK thats fine it was only an idea, and if you don't ask the question you won't get to know the answer.

as for the risk of putting something on the post, i (and anyone else) quite rightly do so at their own risk and in no way was i looking to pass the 'blame' or break any park rules.

I am at the moment looking at ways to more securely attach the camera than the very thin brackets at the back on the camera cover/case because they are NOT Hyena (or for that matter any other animal) proof, and the last thing i want to do is to be blamed for littering the park with anything, let alone bits of chewed up cameras and plastic cases.

Russ

i hope i have not offended anyone by asking the question
my mind and body may be in england my soul is in africa

Well at last I have finished the home made termite mount (i believe some forumites have seen it at the waterhole and they have taken some pictures of it which they have said they will post.

The camera is at Kij Kij waterhole and will be there for the next 4 days before we will move it again to the next waterhole (all depends on the animal movement). We have downloaded some pictures it took two night ago and here are some of the pics.

We had plenty jackal action and gemsbok.

Wow Jannie - the photos are amazing - thanks for posting

that first jackal looks suspiciously like he is doing something unmentionable in the other animals drinking water  :naughty: :naughty:
