Hi Luca,

Beautiful cats! Esp. the drinking ones. Thank you for sharing! Do you remember the time of the Year you where there? The Kalahari is such a special place esp. for us coming from europe because there is nothing that comes close to the Kalahari atmosphere overhere.

Best regards,

Rob

Kyknetta and eos5, tahnks for your reply.

Kyknetta, you are right: it's a long way to Kgalagadi. I'm a fan of this incredible place, and i travel twice per year in SA to visit the park.

Eos5d, The one in Leeuwdrill was taken in december 2012. The others in october 2008 and 2010. Also you are right: in Europe (for sure here in Italy) we don't have such special place to visit.

My next trip will be in december and april; see you somewhere in the park.

Bye. Luca/Italy.

Hi Jan,

At this moment our cat is looking at me almost in the same way but she has to do with the central heating for her comfort, quite different from the Kalahari heat....

Thanks for sharing!

Oh my you are spoiling us with all these amazing photos!!!

Still downloading my photos from last weeks trip, but we did not really have many lion close ups. Lots of times our timing was out with those few minutes between a great photo and a memory photo.

So please keep these great photos coming!!! :gflower:

Just when we started to think that my family did not get the email that we will be visiting them in November, we at long last saw this beauty moving along the road............
