Hi Prwin,

Excellent shots! Thanks for sharing!

One modest contribution:

Image

We never noticed the male lion in the background only after coming home sitting behind the computer we dicovered this big boy :o

Shot in 2003 with my first DSLR a Canon EOS 10D (I still can remember the price of the first 1Gb memorycard I bought for this camera, it was a whopping 299 US dollar)

Best regards,

Rob

eos5d great shot.

The 10D was a great camera and also the 20D, still have mine, It got you thinking on how to shoot the shot as the focus speed was not that great. I think a lot of people have forgotten how they did it in the old days with film when you let the depth of field do the work for you if the animal was moving or running towards you.

RoelfA lovely shots

eos5d this was taken with the 20D

And this with 5D, all I can say the dynamic range is not that forgiving on the 5D as that to the 20d

Hi Prwin,

Thanks for sharing these lovely shots!
The first one is soooooo cute    !!!
I will have a look in my archive if there are pictures made with the 20D I owned. ( I am not sure if I ever took the 20D to the Kgalagadi.

Best regards,

Rob
