Agree with Jan van Wyk - the dominant male of the Kij Kij Rooiputs area is the most impressive specimen I've seen in my entire life. He is called Mufasa Jnr by Hannes Lochner.

Here are some of my photos of him captured in November 2012...

Here are the Polentswa twins, the one name is Jan, not sure of his brother. I was informed they could be the sons of Ousus, not sure as all cats look alike :hmz: :hmz: :D :D :D

Wow !!!!! Shows the Kgalagadi lions are so much more beautiful than their KNP families!!!

Might just be the reason for our next visit to KTP (5-13 April 2014) LQ :hmz: .
The pride of 30 in KNP is also awesome I think :hmz: .

Here is a pic of a beautiful male that we saw at Craig Lockhart on the 4th of March 2013.

Suppose its not often that you see lions playing like this . . . even the burst mode
was set to slow for this unforeseen action . . . adding to the confusion there were
four cubs chasing one another arround the Combi ! (taken at Casper se Draai)

Morning all

Maybe you can shed some light on the following image. It was sent to me by a friend who received it from someone else. This is apparently at one of the camp sites in KTP. Anyone have more information about it ?
