Thanks for the info on the leopard. I've just spoken today to a colleague of mine, who visited KTP a week ago about his holiday. He told me the story of the leopard being moved to Nossob. I hope she will find her way back to her cub and Twee Rivieren. In Afrikaans there's a saying. Die kat kom weer!

I hold thumbs for you that she will return.

I will keep you updated if and when the leopard returned.

Twee Rivieren Sightings board:

Lions at - Leeudril, Munro and Kamqua.
Leopard at - Vaalpan
Cheetah at - Dertiende Boorgat.

Twee Rivieren Sightings board:

Lions at; Houmoed, Leeudril, Dertiende Boorgat and Munro.
Leopard at: Samevloeing, Montrose
Cheetah at : Samevloeiing, Near Mata-Mata, Houmoed.

Twee Rivieren drive:

Cracal, genet's , Lion and African wildcat.

Nossob Drive:

Lions, Large male roaring right next to the vehicle and then the brother responded with a female sleeping next to the road. Cape fox, Bat eared fox and general game

Caracal seems to have become more common Is it so or just a case?

Caracal sightings have become more frequent, there is about 4 to 5 sightings a week, which is great. I still need to see my first Caracal in the Kalahari.

Twee Rivieren Drive:

7 Lion at Houmoed
Spotted Hayena
Brown Hayena
Plenty General game

Nossob Drive:

Huge male lion (black maned) walking infront of vehicle calling his brother which in return answered him, then plenty of cape foxes and general game.

Very interesting senario played off this morning at Twee Rivieren, the gate attendant couldnt open the gates to the park due to 3 lions which made themself comfortable in front of the gate, it took them a while to get the lions to move. They are currently about 100m on the left side outside the gate.

I've often wondered about those open gates..........

We have to do something to get the lions closer to the camps.

Remember hearing about the lioness that strolled into 2R one day and decided that the service station area was a good place to have a kip.

I have had two incidents of lions in camp. Once they came in from the Botswana side and the other pride came in from our staff houses. The incident with the one lion......no i wasnt here then.

Mata-Mata Drives:

Plenty of general game.
African Wildcat, Bat Eared foxes and Cape fox
Birding has been good with plenty of Owls.

Caracal, Genet, African Wildcat, Brown Hayena and plenty general game.

Twee Rivieren Sightings Board:

Lions at: Leeuwdril, Houmoed, Eland and Craig Lockhardt.
Leopards at: Urikaruus and Montrose.
Cheetah at: Kamqua and Dertiende Boorgat

Caracal and Honey Badger have also been spotted

Lions at Nossob waterhole yesterday evening on webcams!!
