I'm just back home after 6 days in the KTP. We had lots of great sightings ( a TR will follow).
We saw these remains of a giraffe November 21 between Sitsas and Craig Lockhart. Can it be the same giraffe as mentioned above?

We saw this oryx last friday at Craig Lockhart and on saturday there were only a few bones left.

This is my first entry to the Kalagadi forum-Traveling to KTP for arrival 13 December 2012 and glad to see their have been some wonderful sightings recently and it would appear that Eland are back-our trip-TW-Nossob-Grootkolk-Garacap-Nossob-Bitterpan-K Tented-home-any advice?

I am sitting in Cape Town with a gale force south easter and about to leave for work. I have never seen a single cat at Samevloeing and now you post this. Thanks for ruining my day........ I suppose the fact that I will be there in a month helps

no cat at Samevloeiing ... I saw here 4 Cheetahs brothers

Saw a pride of 10 Lions this afternoon at Kij Gamies! Lots of Eland and all the general game. Excellent sightings!

Saw a male lion at the Twee Rivieren gate this morning.He then went towards the Botswana side along the fence.I later heard that he entered the camp at the Botswana gate and had to be chased out! Also saw Lions at Samevloeing, Houmoed and Batuluma and a male cheetah at Gemsbokplein.

There are still Eland around and it seems that the Lions have definately taken a liking for Eland meat.

Saw on the sightings board more lion sightings, cheetah and leopard sigtings towards Mata Mata. This road definately cooked this morning!
