Dotty,

Thanks after 'go looking' for the threads i have found them, sometimes it does happen that a person doesn’t know it’s there and want fast answers then they are welcome to post it and I will attend to it as it comes up. The threads in the index page doesn’t have any information on the new adventure activities planned for the park, as soon as I have my proposals in line I would like to see what the feedback would be from all the forumites and see if there would be interest in such activities.

@Mads,

It would be a difficult one to advise on...The reason would be that we cannot control animal movements, all the camps do have their nights whereby they have stunning sightings and the next night it would be quite.

Why not do drives at the camp you intend visiting?

Have a look at the thread "Recent Animal Sightings" I try to keep it updated with the respective camps drive sightings.

Apart from getting expert advice from KG Mads, the best way to decide is to get a coin, flip it and heads 2R, tails Nossob.

We had a wonderful stay at Kgalagadi!! Everybody was very friendly and helpful, even when our battery decided to give the ghost at Nossob... Obviously it did not want to leave.

Mads. KG is one of the ppl I know who loves their job the most.

You should have asked him for a brown hyena. He got us one, even though he thought it was an oryx at first.

Still, it is always great to be out there at night!

We are at 2R for seven nights in Sept, would it be OK to wait till we're there to book a sunset drive, or will it be all booked up by then?

BB - I agree the bush at night is the best.

I wish!! Apparently they were quite scarce on drives at the moment.

VGStephens: You can only book once you are there. It is absolutely worth it!! You can catch me in a snare with a night drive

If you are there 7 nights VGS, I would maybe go on 2. Book while you are there.
