I am busy ploughing my way through my copy, bought yesterday and there is an awful lot of reading, but really fascinating and gives the views of the pro and anti culling brigade. Really brings home tho what an emotional and stirring issue this has become.

If you don't buy it - just look at this month's front page - you will not resist.

Very interesting article about Spotted Hyenas.

Page 12 : Info about the Emerging Tusker Project and also on the three night trail launched at Olifants - (we need a group of eight Forumers - anyone interested?)

Page 10 - Peter Piper - you will drool when you see this!

Page 34 - Nice one about the Otter trial.

And hopefully after this issue, we will be more informed about our consumption and waste of marine resources.

I highly recommend African Geopgraphic to all who enjoy african wildlife and want to receive some insight info .

This mag goes beyond the nice pictures and the oohs and ahs
Is also very much about environment and conservation

The fisheagle shot is unbelievable. I have no doubt it would do very well in the major photo competitions like the BBC Wildlife Photo Awards.

apparently the photograph of the fish eagle caused quite a stir! several people voiced doubts about the authenticity because it is so impressive! They wonder if it was a "digital hoax"! Africa Geographic investigated and says this is not the case!

You really know how to wet one's appetite. Would love to see the photo...!!!

I might even get myself signed up to receive Africa Geographic, but in the meantime, who has a pic of the fish eagle..!!! (Won't get may's edition!)
