Game ranger! written by Hannes Klopper is about the life of one of the Kruger game rangers in the years 1933 - 1958.
Wonder if anyone had red this book?

I came across this book in second hand bookshop at Kleinmond together with other great books i.e. 'South African Eden' by George Cansdale (about Lt Col Stevenson-Hamilton).

From all the Kruger Game Ranger books I have read or busy reading, it was quite interesting to see in which time periods they lived and managed to do the following summary:
1902-1946 LtCol J Stevenson-Hamilton (South African Eden)
1902-1938? Harry Wolhuter (Memories of a Game Ranger)
1933-1958 Harry Kirkman (Game Ranger!)
1950-1977 Gus Adendorf (Wild Company)
1955-2009+ U. de V.Pienaar (Goue Jare)
1973-1991 Bruce Bryden (Game Ranger remembers)
1980-1991 Kobus Kruger wife Kobie (Mahlangeni and All things wild and wonderful)

Are there any you want to add or recommend?
Now active - TMNP: Table Mountain's mood today + West Coast NP: Aug'15 visit
Finished TR's - KRUGER Dec'14 and Agulhas NP Jul'15
Next trip - Dec'15: Mokala (7th), Kruger (10-24), Golden Gate (25th) and Karoo (26th)

I love reading about the rangers of Kruger and exploring the history of this miraculous place. I will certainly see if I can get hold of a copy.

I have read all the other books mentioned and I am always astounded at how Kruger almost never was.
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

yoda,
this is a relative old book and first print in April 1967 and 2nd print November 1967. There is no ISBN no in the book.
The publisher at the time was Janssonius & Heyns. It seems it was before the time of ISBN.
