Greater Addo - Phillip van den Berg

Unread postby Jen » Mon May 06, 2013 2:41 pm

I am interested in purchasing this book.
Is it available online through SANParks?
I see the last edition was published in 2011 - is there an updated version available?

Are there any other books on Addo available ?

Thanks

Hi Jen, I know that Peter Derich is busy with a book on Addo which will also include plant identification info. Not sure when he will be able to finish it, but something worth the while to get.
Measured against the other books he published on Kruger, Kgalagadi and Augrabies, I guess something that will be practcal and worth having.
Check out his website and you can contact himas well. Perhaps he knows of other books on Addo.

I purchased this book and was extremely disappointed :?
Apart from a few nice pictures there is very little information and it is also old and outdated.
Lets hope there is a decent new publication on Addo soon !
