The book I use a lot in the Kruger is 'The Wildlife of Southern Africa' edited by Vincent Carruthers.
Covers everything from trees, flowers, grasses, birds, mammals etc and is easy to use and reasonably priced.
ISBN 1868724514.

Hi Guinea Pig,

If you want to learn about trees in KNP the best book by far is Piet van Wyk`s "Field Guide to the Trees of the Kruger National Park"

I only have one tree-book here
"Field guide to trees of southern africa" by braam van Wyk & Piet van Wyk.
It's a good book, with lots of information.

But what I would like is to find a book where you see pictures of the "whole" tree.
anybody know of such a book ?

I use two books for tree ID'ing:

SAPPI TREE SPOTTING S.: LOWVELD: INCLUDING KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Author(s): Jacana Media
Publisher: Jacana Media
ISBN: 1919777776

and

Field Guide To The Trees Of The Kruger National Park
Author(s): Piet van Wyk
Publisher: Struik Publishers
ISBN: 1868724573

The book by Piet van Wyk shows pictures of the complete trees and close-ups of the bark, the flowers and the leaves.
You already use Field guide to trees of southern africa and that's by the same author, doesn't that book show the same layout and information?

This is what the Field Guide To The Trees Of The Kruger National Park looks like:
