I have just received my copy of "Giants of the Desert" it is about the elephants of the Namib and the world they live in, authored by Prof. Fritz Eloff, previous Chairman of the National Parks Board for 15 years 1979 - 1994 and head of the Zoology Department at the University of Pretoria 1954 - 1985.

I am very proud to own another of this remarkable man, who I also have had the privilege of calling oom Frirz' books.
