BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH Birds.

Unread postby gmlsmit » Thu Dec 23, 2010 12:24 pm

BEAT ABOUT THE BUSH Birds by Trevor Carnaby ISBN 9781770092419 from JACANA is good reading.

It follows a used friendly Questions and Answers format that answers most of the everyday questions in an appealing way. With descriptive and interesting text complemented by more than 900 full-coloured photographs.

It is a behavioral guide delving into the fascinating lives of birds, discussing their forms, survival strategies, breeding and feeding behaviors, movements, migration and vocalizations.

I've had this for a month now and i'm completely in love with it!

Years from now i'm sure i'll still be learning new things from it

I was originally put off by the price (not a cheap book) but it's huge and very worthwhile.
