I have read 237 pages of the 600 plus pages , a riveting account of the authors experiences in the Kruger from the early 50's , full interesting historical facts and anecdotes .

ndloti, you have made me do it! My book has been ordered today and eagerly waiting to received\ and start reading it. After reading Gus Adendorf's 'Wild Company' and about to finish Harry Wolhuter's 'Memories of a Game Ranger' where both make mention of some historical events, it has really wet my appetite to het to know a bit more of the history i.e. the Albisini area I will look at with complete different eyes etc.

I guess, I am about to join the Kruger history club now.....

Received my copy  , but have not started reading as yet...still busy with another book of the history of Kruger.

One of the interesting features of this book is that it make reference to all the Game Rangers of the past and one can now related the era in which each of the Game Rangers that have written a book to i.e. Harry Wolhuter, 1900's, Gus Adendorf 1950's, Bruce Bryden 1970's and Kobus Kruger (Kobie's husband) 1980's etc.

So, cannot wait to start reading... 8)

Bushbuddies, managed to get my computer repaired, hence the delay in response.
You can order it directly from Mosprint at mosprint@mweb.co.za or contact them on 044 691 2689.
They are located in Mosselbay.
ISBN 978-0-620-47553-2
The book is quite sizable and A4 containing 671 pages with great information.
The staff at Mosprint are most helpful.
