No idea from my side. i know that blackberry is fairly limited when it comes to external applications, which is one reason I didn't get one.

Its a free application though that takes only a minute to install, and as quick to uninstall. Why don't you try and let us all know?

It seems to only work with Android phones, such as HTC.

That is not going to work. A BB is not an Android phone, and as such is not registered at Google as a device. The BB does actually not even run Linux.
For the same reason I can not even try it on my Nokia, which does run Linux.

I find this topic really interesting. I would love to hear from anyone who has the Sasol eBirds app for android.

Any other apps out there that can be used/will be useful on iphone, androids etc when travelling to SANParks?

Edit: Sorry, I didn't read DB's post correctly. The version I have on my phone doesn't seem to support exporting. I did receive an email at the end of August with a notice of an upgrade coming soon. I haven't received anything more, or heard anything.
In any case, I prefer to use a separate app for logging (sometimes a pen and paper

)

DB, I had the Sasol app on my old Windows Mobile phone. The Android version is much better and a lot more useable. I definitely recommend it. I think its reasonably priced too.

There's another sightings app I've used called Konkoit, but I'm not too convinced about it yet. I think its developed in SA (they had a stand at the Bird and Birding Fair). I don't use it too often.

What I'd really like is a Cybertracker-like app for Android, which allows you to create custom flows and screens.

I have it and it is great.
it wonderful being able to search by colour and size etc..
I would recommend it to everybody

Just got the HTC Chacha which is android based. Having a struggle getting used to it......but any useful apps I could look for?

Yes got the night sky program - free nogal! It seemed to work last night - but it was too cloudy to see any stars.....
