Book for kids: Maroelaboomstories

Unread postby wildtuinman » Mon Oct 24, 2005 12:58 pm

Got this book for the young ones: Maroelaboomstories. Only afrikaans, that I am aware of but for the Afrikaans speaking saffas parents I say that it is pretty worthwhile to check it out for the young ones. Even I love it.

My 2.8 year old daughter loves it. Started reading it to her last night. She was sitting deadstill and listening with great anticipation.

Stories like elephants nests and how flying ostriches lost their wings to bears. Told by a baboon family in a Maroela tree at night. :D
