Book(s) about okapis

Unread postby Heike1968 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 10:12 pm

Don't know if this is right place for my question, but can recommend any book about okapis? Maybe some containing photographs/illustrations?
I have one old one (issued in 1959) by Agatha Gijzen, a biologist of Antwerp Zoo/Belgium. She described the okapi with the knowledge of the 1950ies in a more scientifical way and their life in a zoo.

Thanks in advance. :)

Hi Heike, :D

There is a book I know of called The Okapi: Mysterious Animal of Congo-Zaire,
I'm sure if you google it, it will come up for you.
