Hi there, i am new to this group, I am at present studying to be a tour guide and am looking for recomendations on what kind of plant and animal guide book i can get, any suggetions would be most welcome
The best mammal book on the market (according to me!!) is "Beat about the Bush Mammals/Birds". This book is not really about what we call Species Specifics or the long and short of animals, its more about field signs, behaviour etc. which is brilliantly desribed with alot of pics. If you are interested in the specific animal facts, go for Mammals of Southern Africa by Smithers.
Hope you enjoy your studies!!!
