History and Stories of Kruger Park

Unread postby xswazi » Mon Jan 07, 2008 3:25 pm

I am trying to find some books on the history and especially on stories of events and legends of the park. Can anyone recommend any books and where to get them please?

Many thanks

Hi there,
I know of a book that was released a while ago which looks very nice!! I bit on the expensive side I think, but looks like these are supposed to be like a collectors item. You can go and check out I might be wrong about the price......

I can recommend the History of Kruger. There are three volumes and it is full of the history and development of Kruger and its animals...very interesting. It is going to give me a life time of reading!!

Another recent release is "The History of Mpumalanga"

edited by Professor Peter Delius.
