Mine was "Well Here's the Story!!!" link

I had joined the forums in August 2010, but wasn't visiting Kruger until December.
I had read so many lovely reports, and couldn't wait to write mine, so I did one on our holiday from 2009 when our UK friends spent a week with us in Kruger!!!

I'm afraid DB, but I have no idea how to do a link!!!

My first was: The Bush family visit their other home

The most fun for me to write though was definitely Yo-Yoing through KNP!

Having had 4 trips so far this year I'm a little behind on TR's!

My first one was when I saw that rescued aardvark with the bandage on his snout. I couldn't not share that, and then I "helped" MM with the Mapungubwe one when she got busy with other stuff ........... :D :D Those two trips were both in the same month.

Ah yes, Chirinda..the other stuff.

My first notable trip report was the Bananarama trip. Its a trip that ruined reputations while causing much hilarity.

Before the days of the forum, I had seen a way that the website could be improved and emailed Admin. To my surprise and delight it was implemented almost immediately and Admin thanked me for my suggestion. We became cyberfriends, and I suggested that there be a place for visitors of the parks to be able to write of their experiences and for Admin to put them on the web site.

Admin agreed, and I wrote about 2 trips, one to Kruger and another to KTP, and Admin put links to them on the front page.

When I produced a third, Admin told me about the newly created forum and a section that would take over from these experience postings - others had alco contributed by now - called "Travel Tales" and as they say, the rest is history......

I see mine was way back in 2006 and I remember deliberating long and hard over whether I would be able to write one that would be of interest to others and I worried about the quality of our pics until eventually I decided to give it a "go" and haven't looked back since, love reading all the trip reports and find writing one is also a way of helping out those withdrawal symptoms after you are back home again.
