Trrp, the bush patrol    always taking ownership of the road.

This was taken on a day when it was 44 degree heat. I just love the fluffed up tail ready for action. I would gladly do 44 degree heat to be there right now.

Love the fluffy tail too MM.

 44 degrees ...I don't do those temperatures very well. :slap: ..that is more like a braai, no wood or charcoal even required.

Taken in the south near LS...would love to start my weekend there today.

What a lovely way to start the day, Trrp. 8) Giraffe to make the most photographic subjects, you captured it well.

I am also staying south today. There I go with those clouds again.

:D While we are in the South today I think I must go and spend some time in the Skukuza library 8) It is nice and cool there and I like the lingering good smell of all the old books.

I think we should start a topic just about clouds. I love the light rays beaming downwards from behind a cloud as in your photograph MM.

Trrrp, I never get tired of looking at Giraffe. I saw a youg giraffe on my last trip that kept running around and round in circles. I could kick myself for not taking a video of his/her little antics.

Smells are just like memories. I have never been to the Skukuza library Grantmissy. I really should make the effort to visit. .

I do like spending time on the deck at Lower Sabie. There is always something to see.

At 44° though I would rather be in the pool.

MM...Clouds with silver linings always have such an awe about them...just so amazing.

GM... Have not visited the Library for a very long time...another visit definitely overdue, must make a plan.
See you will also be in the Park in 2 months time, fly your yellow ribbon, may just pass you along the way. 8)

Mizzbee..The ever present feathered friends always around for some crumbs. ..Also love sitting out there looking over the Sabie *sigh*
The pool sure does look inviting, after the heat we have had.

I love the cool, misty, dewy mornings, where the spider webs are visible all over, they just give such a magnificent show...Some look like upside down parachutes... maybe they are called parachute webs. :hmz:

Trrrp those spider webs always amazes me dunno where the spiders get all that silk from some of the webs are huge will fly the yellow ribbon wishing you a good trip. I enjoy taking a map along to see all the historical spots. The Skukuza library is a good place to get a bit "lost" in the history of the Kruger.

Trrp, I am always fascinated by strange things hanging from trees. Nice one  I know that there are birds that have nests looking like spider nests. Not to be raided in a hurry.

GM, I wonder what the library is like now since the renovations. We wanted to go last September but it was out of bounds.

Mizzbee, those wonderful picnic moments....they always stay firmly entrenched in memory and keep callin us back.

This is a picnic moment. It is also a friendship moment. I went to Mlondozi to meet up with Roaneric, Geocor, Gerhardt and families. It was a very meaningful experience.

Whenever I go to Mlondozi I look out for these little critters. They are just gorgeous.

Forestgump...*sigh* what a view you must have.

Today I would like to see the different variety of flowers...they always bring a bright splash of colour to the Park.

Excuse my smile

Trrp, what an exquisite picture. Simply beautiful.

Maybe not as delicate as the flower, but I would like to be at Transport dam. This was taken on a drive the day after the cricket a few years ago. Spooky kindly took us. Annapangolin and MM enjoyed every minute.

MM... Lovely :cam: ...Transport Dam is always worth a visit...The resident Waterbuck are almost always in attendance. 8)

Starting my morning off at Sunset Dam will suit me just fine for today.

I enjoy spending some time at the Transport Dam. Always something to see. I think it where that epic video of a few years ago were recorded entitled Battle of the Kruger or something similar :hmz:.

GM, what a video that was. No movie could be that well scripted with so many twists and turns.

Trrp  You have inspired me to find a giraffe, also from a cricket trip. This was taken at de la Porte waterhole, always a "must do'' for me.

The photos of the giraffe are beautiful. Thank you. They are so graceful and I love their loping gait.

I have a yearning to be watching this little guy. I spent many happy hours observing his behaviour at Balule and was happy to see him early every morning, having survived the night.

I am amazed at it’s power of survival especially when sharing a part of the same territory as the resident hyenas. Unfortunately they seldom survive more than a year in the wild.
