I have done all of the below at one stage or the other whilst in Kruger  . Although I have given up doing these wrong things :rtm: :rtm: :rtm: I still sometimes think of them :P

:| Taking of those seat belts after checking in at one of the Kruger entrance gates as it is unsafe to drive around without a safety belt :naughty:. Even if a person has entered drive-and-go very slow country it remains against the rules of the road and in Kruger for safety reasons.

:| Lighting up a cigarette whilst knowing that Kruger is a no-smoking area and despite persistent health warnings that it is very bad :naughty:  doing so.

:| Not taking proper pre-caution against malaria even during the winter months or braaiing without socks and shoes during summer at dusk whilst knowing that mosquitoes love bare ankles because of the misperception that prophylactics provide sufficient protection.

Have you ever wanted to do any of the above :hmz: ?

Oh dear, I am still full of pepper tick bites due to not taking good precautions. :wall: :wall: :wall: and that was from my trip over a month ago.

Beer for breakfast, another thing is beer for breakfast. I'm not even safe with beer for supper.

Don't drive with a seat belt when game viewing, coz we only drive at 15kph.
if driving long distances between camps we do up to 50kph, so then put on our belts.

Don't smoke at all.

We live in Phala 6 months of the year now, so just do as the locals, cover up and spray spray spray!!!!

Don't wear seat belts in Kruger, don't smoke anywhere, don't take malaria pills as I had abad reaction years ago and was sick for weeks. Use to feed animals  but now that I know better I don't do that anymore. When we were kids we use to get out for pee breaks but don' do that anymore.

- no seat belts in the Kruger, we are only driving 15-20km an hour
- no smoking at home or the Kruger
-as soon as the sun starts setting we spray ourselves(necks, ankles, lower arms etc) and also sleep with the aircon on or fan or if camping we just spray the inside of the tents.
-no toilet breaks ANYWHERE, we always plan our routes and go to the bathrrom before we leave and if we stop anywhere that has a toilet we use it

I feel restricted when travelling slowly in Kruger with a seat belt on especially driving way below the speed limits of 50 and 40.

Impossible to drive in Kruger with a seatbelt.........how do you twist around whilst taking photos of the lions walking past the car? How do you retrieve the bird book and binocs that have slid back behind the seats when you stopped suddenly because of an enigmatic glimpse of a possibly rare feathered friend....?
Used to smoke - not no more.
Also used to skinny dip in youth...............wouldn't DARE to do it now - would scare everyone within a 100km radius!
Don't feed the animals.
Only very rarely may have to have a roadside stop............
We've both had malaria - one whilst taking pills and one when not but both in winter. Now just cover up and spray; that is when we remember

Uhm ne...
I'm guilty of all the above counts except skinny dipping! Ag nee man Bushy!
I don't wear seatbelts as then I won't drive 13hours! You must be comfy I believe when you are driving everyday for 10+hours...
I smoke, ash and throw my buds in a waterbottle/ashtray. As mostly I'm the only person in my car I'm only killing myself...
Malaria pills? What is that
Feed animals? Not in the park! Sies man!
Watering the grass-have done it a few times in my youth but knows better now! Now I sometimes get urinary infection holding it for 3 hours till I see a bathroom
