I am going to the match at the Emirates tonight - Arsenal v Chelsea

Only the Capital One cup and both teams will probably field B teams.
But I see it is sold out, so the atmosphere should be good.

Today the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek started. Love watching this tournament with KNP in the back ground.
Go Charl!!!

Yeah. Nice to hear the fish eagles calling on the commentary.

BTW if you have written United off this season write them back on after last night's 5-0 demolition of Leverkusen, 2nd in the Bundesliga, in front of their own horrified supporters.

Good to see United back to winning ways, everyone keeps forgetting that the football season is a long one.

BB,

We did it at Bayern a few weeks ago. Not by such a big margin, but we were the first English team to beat them at home in the CL.

I went to the CL game on Tuesday. Thoroughly enjoyed it

Just two weeks to go

BB,

The Gunners are marching on.
We had a good night last night.

Man U....Martinez achieved what Moyes could never do. A win at Old Trafford. Quite ironic!

They are indeed! If United can't win it I would rather see the Gunners take it than the scousers or Chelski.

It was Everton's first win at OT since Moyes took over as Everton manager.... :hmz:

I thing Bob Martinez is a good manager, better than Moyes, but most are.....

Why anyone plays Welbeck in front of Hernandez, especially when RvP is out is beyond me. If Rooney doesn't score nobody does.

Ah well, we had it good for 20 years. The wheels turn......

Thankfully Kallis went in a few balls, so we got 358/4 off our 50. Now to try to contain the world champions.

After that rout, maybe they should play in pink more often.

First test. SA bowlers mop up the India tail, 4/16.

SA lose 5/16, but it is the heart of the batting. :wall:

I have often said that if Smith fails, SA fails. But he got 68, more than twice anyone else, and 68 more than the world's best allrounder!

Sorry to disagree with you BB but I feel that if Amla fails then we will have a mini collapse. However, good to see that Philander has come to the party. If Proteas can reach the Indian score before lunch today then we stand a good chance of winning the game providing that the bowlers can perform as well as they did yesterday morning.

To our English friends sorry to see that you have to hand the ashes over to the Australians but your team was comprehensively beaten and out played.

Pops, I agree that 1st prize is to get 280. Getting a lead of 50+ will be an absolute bonus. I am confident that we can restrict the Indians to 200. Chasing anything more than 200 on this pitch is going to be tough!
