Not sure if this is the right place - but here goes........ if it is not, perhaps you could guide me to the right place.
Will be driving down from Johannesburg to just South of Kruger, next week, in preparation for our visits to the park. We expect to have a little time in hand and wondered if anyone could recommend a good place to stop en route to absorb some scenery, wildlife, culture or all three. If it includes a good place for some good food, even better.
Thanks
Margaret

Hi Margaret

Welcome to the forums, do you mean places to see outside of the park on the south end of the park?

Sorry if it wasn't clear. We are travelling from J'burg to near Croc. Bridge, and want to stop somewhere interesting on our way down for a couple of hours. Once there I know there will be plenty to do, see etc :D

Magbrin, if you enjoy trees and birds, the Nelspruit botanical gardens would be a gem of a place to while away a couple of hours.
