I was born and live in Washington, USA with my wife, who was born in Montreal, Canada. Eagerly anticipating our second visit to South Africa this coming September.

The early morning mists the steam rising from the grass the smell of the first rains the clap of thunder the omf omf of the lion, the cry of the fish eagle....this is the blood in my veins and no matter where I find myself in the world at the end of the day I sit up with my back against the Accacia tree sharing the shade surveying the unspoilt plains and know where I will always be!
South African. Live in Gauteng, but thankful we have places like KNP. Our annual visits (4 hours drive away) is what keeps me going. My grandparents retired to the Lowveld (White River) and my fondest childhood memories are of each school holiday when we visited them. My grandfather would take us for day trips into the Kruger entering at Numbi gate and he taught my brothers and I the wonders of nature. To this day, all of us are avid KNP enthusiasts. Thanks, Oupie. Never forget you.

Born in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga and still living there as retired person. Satara in Kruger Park favourite holiday destination. Camping there is unrivalled.

I'm British but have been living in South Africa since 1975 (Permanent Resident).
Married to South African (educated and raised in Rhodesia). 2 daughters born in South Africa, but have dual UK/SA citizenship. Both with guys with dual UK/SA citizenship.
Feel so privileged to be close to all the SANPARKS!!

I´m comming from Germany as well. At the moment I live in trier but I was Born in bavaria. But cologne is in Germany my home town. I have lived a couple of years in Lesotho. My Mom was born in South Afrika. Evenso she has a german Passbord, I can say I´m half German half south Afrikan.
