It is always facinating to see how our mites comunicate on the forums without personally meeting each other and then to see months or years later how they have met at some organised meet and became friends for life.

This thread is an invitation to enlighten fellow mites as to where and how mites met and how many were present at that point in time .

I will open the floor with a Sunday lunch with Hilda, WendA and myself that escalated into us staging a Gauteng Meet - Braai at Rietvlei on 21 April 2012 .

The original list was 35 mites and a few children and friends (6). We would have loved to have had JenB, Sparks, Dinkybird and Hawk also with us, however they could not attend.

The attendance on the day was 28 plus Mgoddard (Martie) via Skype video-call .

Apart from the cricket, the Gauteng meet was second only to the Prings meet at Rietvlei in July 2011, I think there was 52 about.

I am not quite sure how many people were at this meet.

It was in G'teng, at my place about 3 years ago, or was it 4

We had a mini meet on Saturday @ Nkuhlu
It was Gerhaddb, Sparrow and Leachy and the Heks
Not as big as the others, but a meet still
