Nkulu - it is at a time such as this that you realise how much this forum really means. Cannot think of any other forum that will support a member - usually someone who very few have actually met in person. Whatever happens and whenever you are low - we are here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to strengthen you through this time

"Thank you Lord, for all my friends
Each one is dear to me
For all the smiles and glowing hearts
I seem to always see.

They're there in times of good and bad
Their love, they always share
They fill me with unending joy
And show me that they care.

I see them as the shining stars
God placed them there with care
I may not always see their smiles
But know they're always there".

Hi all,

My father passed away peacefully in his sleep over the weekend. I was able to spend 2 weeks with him in hospice before he slipped away, and it was a chance for us to reconcile the past. I won't lie, it was difficult. But my sisters and I forgave and were there for him.

I fly back home again in a few days to lay him to rest. This will be difficult too. Please keep us in your hearts - the kind words given to me earlier are still with me.
